Protomartyr is an American post-punk band from Detroit that formed in 2008 featurig Joe Casey on vocals, Greg Ahee on guitar, Alex Leonard on drums and Scott Davidson on bass guitar. Their sound has been compared to acts such as The Wire, the Fall, Pere Ubu, the Constantines and Ice Age. They released their debut album No Passion All Technique in 2012 and released their third album The Agent Intellect in 2015. The band has toured all throughout the United States and Europe, playing in major festivals such as SXSW and Pitchfork Music Festival.
