It's finally here. Week 18 of the Adult Swim Singles hits us with a new RUN THE JEWELS track, t-shirt, and limited edition 12" print!!

Run The Jewels is the hip-hop duo consisting of Killer Mike and El-P. After El-P produced Killer Mike's 2012 album R.A.P. Music, and Mike appeared on El-P's album Cancer for Cure which was released just a few weeks later, the two went on tour together. The success of the tour born the friendship and the formation of Run The Jewels. Their albums Run The Jewels (2013) and Run The Jewels 2 (2014), both released as free digital downloads, have been met widespread critical acclaim.

El-P (Jaime Meline) is a Brooklyn rapper/producer who has been a major driving force in the underground scene and in alternative hip hop for more than two decades. Originally a member of Company Flow,  El-P is the co-founder, owner and CEO of the Definitive Jux record label.
El-P's lyrics are usually full of dense metaphor, wordplay variations, and aggressive, verbose attacks. His work is notably influenced by a lot of science-fiction references to writer Phlip K. Dick and his production style is innovative for it's mix of futuristic and lo-fi sounds, as well as unconventional eclectic sounds bites.

Killer Mike (Michael Render) is an Atlanta rapper. His music debut was a feature on OutKast's "Snappin' & Trappin'" from the 2000 album Stankonia, followed by their 2001 single "The Whole World", which won a Grammy for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group. He was also featured on several other tracks that year, including "Poppin' Tags" from Jay-Z's The Blueprint 2.  In December 2008, Mike signed to T.I's Grand Hustle Records. In 2012, he released R.A.P. Music, produced entirely by El-P. Killer Mike is an outspoken social activist, reflected heavily in his music as well as in his interviews with the media. He has spoken on police brutality, systematic racism, and social equality.

This is the first single from the soundtrack for the documentary Rubble Kings (www.rubblekings.com), out on October 30th via Mass Appeal Records. Produced by Little Shalimar, the soundtrack, which is based on the score of the film, features appearances by Run The Jewels, Bun B, Mr Muthaf*kin Exquire, Ka and Roxiny amongst others.

Rubble Kings tells the story of how a few extraordinary, forgotten people did the impossible, during the gang era of NYC and how their actions impacted the city and the world over by planting the seeds to what would become hip hop culture.
