Week 15 of the Adult Swim Singles takes on a new DOOMSTARKS track, t-shirt, and limited edition 12" print!!

DOOMSTARKS consists of legendary hip-hop icons Ghostface Killah and MF DOOM. Although the all-star duo have worked together numerous times, they are yet to release any of their announced collab albums. Swift & Changeable, first announced around 2012, is the highly anticipated upcoming DOOMSTARKS album set to be released "in 2015". Ghostface Killah and DOOM most recently reunited on the track "Ray Gun" from the Ghostface Killah x BadBadNotGood collab studio album Sour Soul

Ghostface Killah is a rapper most known as a prominent member of the legendary Wu-Tang Clan. After the group achieved breakthrough success in the aftermath of Enter the Wu-tang (36 Chambers), the members went on to pursue solo careers with Ghostface Killah debuting his solo-career with Ironman in 1996. He has continued his success over the following years with critically acclaimed albums such as Supreme Clientele (2000) and Fishscale (2006).  He is the founder of his own label Starks Enterprises. Ghostface is known for his distinct flow and voice as well as his compelling narratives and vibrant storytelling.

MF DOOM aka Madvillain aka Viktor Vaughn aka Metal Face, and a host of other aliases, is a rapper and producer best known for his "super villian" artist persona, complex rhyme schemes, and unique beats/obscure samples. MF DOOM wears a mask similar to that of Marvel super-villain Doctor Doom. The mask is based on a prop mask obtained from the film GladiatorDOOM has released many classic hip-hop records such as Operation Doomsday, Madvillainy, and Mm..FoodDOOM's first commercial breakthrough came through the album Madvillainy (2004), created with producer Madlib under the group name Madvillain and released by Stones Throw Records. The album was a wide critical and commercial success and MF DOOM hit the mainstream for the first time. Most recently, MF DOOM collaborated with rapper Bishop Nehru to release the album NehruvianDOOM (2014).

The new track "Lively Hood" consists of a very DOOM-esque beat; a unique, dark but cartoony, filthy beat that sounds like the tip-toeing of giants. Ghostface and DOOM spit themes pertaining to the underbelly of New York City, painting vivid pictures through characteristically dense lyrical structure.
